BREAKING NEWS - Al-Rahi wants international protection for people of Rmeish

Maronite Patriarch Beshara al-Rahi on Sunday voiced regret over the clash in the southern border town of Rmeish between Hezbollah members and town residents.

"We urge the security agencies to perform their duty of protecting and reassuring our sons, so that they feel that they belong to a state that protects them and guarantees their safety and freedom to work in their land, under U.N. Security Council 1701, which prohibits any armed forces from being present in their area,” al-Rahi added in his Sunday Mass sermon.
