Dr Robert M. Cutler is a scholar and policy analyst specialising in Eurasian geopolitics, energy security, and international system evolution. Educated at MIT, the Geneva Graduate Institute, and the University of Michigan, he taught and researched at universities in Canada, France, Russia, Switzerland, and the United States before moving into policy analysis. Over three decades he has advised governments, international institutions, think tanks, NGOs, and the private sector on energy, geopolitics, trade corridors, organisational design, and leadership psychology. He is Director of NATO Association of Canada's Energy Security Programme, Practitioner Member at the University of Waterloo's Institute for Complexity and Innovation, and Senior Fellow at Strategy International. Recognised for forecasting systemic shifts, his peer-reviewed work predicted how and when the USSR would collapse and continues to integrate theoretical innovation with applied policy insight.
