Tourism in Uzbekistan has always drawn people from far and wide. For anyone who knows about the country, this is easy to understand - bright colours, intricate patterns, rich flavours, and friendly people await every visitor. This landlocked Central Asian nation offers more than a single person can explore in a lifetime. Whether you crave a night in the soothing serenity of a remote mountain village or a walk through the streets of history, Uzbekistan will not disappoint. Uzbekistan tourism is all about exploring what you’re interested in, and you’ll be sure to find it here!

Every year the flow of foreign tourists visiting Samarkand, Bukhara, Karshi, Khiva, Kokand and Tashkent increases.

As a result of activities undertaken 2019 year our country has already visited more than 4.3 million foreign tourists, up 27 percent compared to the same period 2018 year. Tour services are rendered to 854.5 million dollars. Simplified visa regime. E-visa nationals can get 77 countries. Implemented system for issuing Rewritable visa.

As a result of the project, the number of visitors can be increased from 300 thousand to 1.5 million people per year, Daily Sabah writes.

A resort complex will be created in Zaamin, capable of serving tourists for all four seasons. Deputy khokim of the Zaamin district Ismadiyar Aralov told Anadolu Agency.

“The region, reminiscent of Switzerland with its climate and pine forests, is the most preferred area by those looking for an escape from the temperatures in the May-August period,” he said.

According to him, Zaamin, located between Tashkent and Samarkand, on the border with Tajikistan and not far from Kazakhstan, has every opportunity to develop tourism all year round. Now, in partnership with a Turkish company in the region, work has begun on the creation of a tourist complex.

“Turkey has extensive experience in tourism. With this in mind, we chose to work with a Turkish company,” Ismadiyar Aralov explained.

According to him, as a result of joint work with the Turkish company, a master plan for the project with a total area of 700 hectares and a cost of $300 million is prepared. Within the framework of this project, mountain, sports, health and gastronomic tourism will be developed in the region.

It is planned to build ski centers, golf courses, indoor and outdoor sports facilities, as well as a number of hotels.

There are now about 10 hotels and over 100 guest houses in Zaamin. As a result of the project, the number of visitors can be increased from 300 thousand to 1.5 million people per year. Underlining that the region will serve visitors for 12 months, Aralov stated that infrastructure works for road, sewerage, electricity and natural gas supply are continuing.
