‘Jews are everywhere, and we have to attack every Jew on the globe by way of slaughter and killing’, said a senior Hamas official and Minister of Security, Fathi Hamad, recently. It’s clear that Hamas wants to bring the war against Israël and the West to Europe and is planning - sooner or later - a ‘second October 7th’ in Europe. Three years after the horrific terror attack in Israel, Hamas wants to organise a ‘global jihad’ against Israel by targeting Jews, Jewish institutions and Jewish interests in Europe and elsewhere. It is only a matter of time.

Investigators uncovered coordinated terror cells across Greece, Germany, Austria and beyond: smuggling weapons, scouting targets, preparing coordinated strikes. The network utilised cross-border logistics, relying on transit and operational routes connected to countries like Turkey and direction from leadership based abroad.
Hamas behaves like an ‘octopus’ in Europe, according to the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, preparing to attack when the order is given.
Hamas growing terror threat on European soil
Over the past two years, European authorities have thwarted numerous terrorist plots and uncovered weapons caches linked to Hamas, largely with the help of Israeli intelligence. In November 2025, European security services prevented Hamas terrorist attacks across the continent, including in Germany and Austria.
In Vienna, a weapons hideout containing handguns and explosive devices was uncovered and confiscated. Operatives involved in these terrorist plots have reportedly travelled abroad to meet with, or receive instructions from Hamas members in Turkey, Lebanon, and Qatar.
Hamas has also allegedly coordinated with European street gangs mirroring Iran’s tactic of using criminal networks as proxies for terror activity.
Immigration: the Trojan horse of Hamas in Europe
Hamas terrorists and their accomplices are being continuously smuggled into Europe, via the flow of refugees from the Middle East and Gaza, as well as through illegal and even legal immigration. These sleeper cells are biding their time while providing support services to the terror network.
A halt to the influx of refugees is the only way to put an end to this ongoing infiltration. Meanwhile, the ground is being prepared, and the 'Free Palestine' movement serves as a Trojan horse to help terrorists go into hiding and prepare attacks.
The financial jihad
An extensive Hamas-affiliated network operating in various European countries, including the United Kingdom, Germany, Italy, France, Belgium, and the Netherlands, is already operational.
This terror ecosystem also implies a network of NGO’s and advocacy organisations and has functioned as a recurring convening platform for Hamas-affiliated actors across multiple European countries. Hamas has established a network of activists and organisations in Europe.
Although Hamas emerged from the conflict in Gaza severely weakened militarily, its financial support networks abroad remain largely intact. The ‘financial jihad’ is necessary to continue their terrorist activity.
Many of the so-called aid organisations providing 'humanitarian aid' to Gaza and Palestine are controlled by Hamas or one of its affiliated organisations. Hamas determines what happens to the resources, where they end up, and what purpose they serve.
Hamas is a designated terrorist organisation not only in the United States but in Europe as well. The European Union has recently strengthened its sanctions against Hamas. Some European governments, such as Germany and the Netherlands, acted against Hamas funding networks within their borders.
Many others have not.
For example, Hamas has been active in Belgium for years, but the Belgian government has taken no action. Some other governments, such as France and the UK, have taken some limited actions; it is not enough to be effective.
Anyone wishing to halt Hamas terrorist activities - and, above all, ensure that Europe does not become the next victim of Hamas terror - must turn off the financial tap flowing from Europe to Hamas. Some European countries, including Italy, have taken decisive action in response to the threat.
In May 2025, Switzerland initiated a five-year ban on Hamas and its front organisations in the country. A move intended to curb the terror group’s financing and enhance information sharing with international partners. That said, many European nations have been slow to confront Hamas’ financing infrastructure substantively.
IS, Al Qaida, PLO, Hamas & Hezbollah: different packaging, same contents
In fact, Hamas is following the strategy that enabled the Islamic State to carry out a series of 'successful' attacks in Europe: infiltrating dormant terror cells through immigration; creating a network that can provide shelter and various other facilities in preparation for attacks and mobilising funds and sympathy within the Arab and Muslim communities in Europe.
It stands to reason that the Islamic pillar in Europe acts as a fifth column for organisations such as Hamas.
Islamic terrorism in Europe is a multi-headed hydra; every time one head is cut off, another emerges. Al-Qaeda, ISIS, Hezbollah, the PLO, Hamas- they all share one thing in common: a visceral hatred of the West and Europe. Israel is the outpost of the free West, a beacon of democracy and freedom.
It would be extremely naive to think that Hamas is merely Israel's problem and does not concern us Europeans. Europe is next in line, and Hamas, along with other Islamist terrorist organisations, is actively preparing for this through the "global jihad."
Hamas leaves no room for doubt, as beautifully stated by Hamas Member of Parliament, Yunis Al-Astral: “After Israel, it is Europe's turn. Very soon, inch Allah, Rome will be conquered, just like Constantinople was, as was prophesied by our prophet Muhammad. Today, Rome is the capital, which has declared its hostility to Islam. Rome will be an advanced post for the Islamic conquests, which will be spread through Europe in its entirety and then will turn to America!’
It is only a matter of time before Hamas brings the October 7 terror to Europe.
