Sadyr Japarov arriving in Uzbekistan

President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov is coming to Uzbekistan on a state visit, the local media reports with reference to the presidential press service.

As part of his visit, Sadyr Japarov will meet with the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev in Tashkent.

Also, meetings with the Senate Chairperson Tanzila Narbaeva, Speaker of the Legislative Chamber Nurdinjon Ismoilov and Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov are planned.

Within the framework of the upcoming visit, the Uzbek-Kyrgyz Business Forum will be held.

Uzbekistan to grant Kyrgyzstan $50 million for economic projects

Uzbekistan will allocate $50 million to Kyrgyzstan for the implementation of various economic projects.

The deputies of the Kyrgyz parliament have approved the ratification of the agreement on the establishment of the Kyrgyz-Uzbek development fund. According to it, Uzbekistan will allocate funds to Kyrgyzstan.

Reportedly, a board of directors will be created and it will include three representatives from Uzbekistan and two from Kyrgyzstan.

Uzbekistan signs co-op agreement with Belarus in tourism

State Tourism Committee of Uzbekistan has signed a cooperation agreement with the Ministry of Sports and Tourism of Belarus.

The document was inked by the Deputy Chairman of the Tourism Committee Ulugbek Azamov and the First Deputy Foreign Minister of Belarus Alexander Guryanov during the VIII meeting of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission on Bilateral Cooperation, the committee’s press service reported.

The sides agreed to cooperate in promoting tourism products, exchanging information and experience in the field of tourism, organizing info-tours, training personnel, supporting various types of tourism: health, ecological, gastronomic, mountain, cultural, archaeological and agritourism.
