2025 highlights: From ending wars to exposing the Deep State

The last day of 2025, looking back on The Liberum’s third year of publication. In the year our platform's daily visitors quadrupled, prominent figures such as Flemish veteran politician Filip Dewinter, legal philosopher Rafael Baroch, and independent thinker Max von Kreyfelt joined the platform. Another hectic year indeed on the international stage. All eyes were on U.S. President Donald Trump, who exposed the Deep State, created a peace momentum between Armenia and Azerbaijan, and pledged to end wars in Ukraine, Syria, and Gaza. Here are some of our highlights in case you accidentally missed them.

Looking back on 2025, it becomes evident that Trump put his money where his mouth is. After Joe Biden mumbled and stumbled his farewell from the White House, Trump stepped up his peace efforts in various places on the globe.

While the curtains fell on WEF founder Klaus Schwab (who turned out to be a fraud after all), Trump put the genocide of white South Africans on the agenda and opened the Deep State battle, exposing former President Barack Obama's alleged treason when he was in office.

The Liberum’s most prominent new contributor, Filip Dewinter, surprised us with some razor-sharp analysis on Europe’s escalating migration crisis. He elaborated on how asylum in Europe transformed into a lubricant for Jihadi terrorism,  and when there will be no forced remigration, a civil war in Europe could even erupt.

For those who are unaware, Dewinter has been warning of the consequences of uncontrolled migration and Islamisation of Europe since 1988. He was ridiculed but proved correct on all fronts. A painful reality for the collapsing (radical) lefties all over Europe.

Dr Paul Cliteur made himself heard regularly in 2025. Like Dewinter, Cliteur does not shy away when it comes to putting his finger on the sore spots of the left. He analyses Koran burnings, the ‘correct’ attitude towards Islam in the West, and Islamo-leftism. Cliteur also broke a lance for Islam critics, Salman Rushdie, Boualem Sansal, and Darya Safai. To name a few.

With Syrian researcher Dr Ali Albeash, The Liberum further expanded its network of expert contributors in the Middle East. Together with Ahmad Ghosn, he is closely monitoring developments in Syria and other parts of the Levant, under the watchful eye of human rights jurist and legal philosopher Rafael Baroch, an expert on Israel, Gaza, and the misunderstandings surrounding them. Who elaborated on genocide for the advanced, and the philosophy of the tunnel.

The addition of Dr. Vasif Huseynov (Azerbaijan), an International Relations expert and scholar, enhanced our coverage of the Caucasus. Farid Shukurlu (Azerbaijan), an international lawyer, policy scholar, and geopolitical analyst, and Ahsan Ali (Pakistan) further enhanced our insights into Asia and beyond.

Last but certainly not least, a shoutout to our usual suspects. Emad Aysha continues to connect the dots among literature, science fiction, modern-day events, and the unbelievable. Emad can explain it all.

Nikola Mikovic, our Central European expert and analyst, continues to provide fresh insights, while corporate expert Emile Fakhoury explains complex corporate matters clearly.

How boring life would be without the contributions of Adriana Lebbos, and newcomers Murielle Hebbo, Dina-Perla Poortnaar, and Nadia Ahmed. Probably a lot more boring indeed.

A final shoutout to Social Sparrow, our technical wizards.

On behalf of the whole editorial team, I wish all our readers a healthy, happy, and much wisdom in 2026.
