More than 75% of all asylum seekers (excluding Ukraine) in Europe are Muslim. Yet, these Muslim refugees aren't seeking asylum in one of the world's 56 Muslim-majority countries. Instead, Europe is primarily responsible for providing shelter, housing, benefits, and healthcare. As a social crutch for many Muslim refugees worldwide, we are paying a heavy price for it. To illustrate, let’s take a closer look at Belgium.
By Filip Dewinter
In 2024, 39,615 people applied for asylum in Belgium, representing an 11.6% increase from the previous year. The central countries of origin? Syria, Afghanistan, and the Palestinian Territories. In the Netherlands, a whopping 229,750 people applied for asylum in 2024.
The majority of applications in the Netherlands originated from Syrians (35.8%), Eritreans (8.4%), and Yemenis (7.5%). In the EU, the largest groups of asylum seekers in 2024 came from Syria, Afghanistan, and Palestine.
The multi-billion-dollar Asylum Industry
The cost of this policy is staggering. Fedasil's (Belgian Federal Agency for the Reception of Asylum Seekers) budget in Belgium amounted to a staggering €946 million in 2024. For each asylum seeker, the Belgian taxpayer pays €71 per day. With 36,000 reception places that are 94% occupied, the bill continues to rise. In the Netherlands, hosting an asylum seeker costs approximately €2,100 per month or €26,000 per year.
The Central Agency for the Reception of Asylum Seekers (COA) spent €3.5 billion on reception in the Netherlands in 2024. In short, whether it's Belgium, the Netherlands, or the rest of Europe, the majority of asylum seekers come from Muslim countries experiencing war and conflict. While our own people struggle with poverty, waiting lists, and unpaid bills, generous donations are made to foreigners.
Asylum crisis: Europe pays the bloody price for open borders
Isn't it strange that Muslims are seeking asylum in European countries, even though Islam is Europe's arch-enemy? After all, Europe is decadent, Islamophobic, and racist. And European values are opposed to Islamic law and norms?
Is Europe truly a political haven for so-called political refugees from Muslim countries, or is there more to it? Hasn't the lucrative and easy asylum status for refugees, based on the historic 1949 Geneva Convention, become a lubricant for radical Muslim activists whose sole purpose is to infiltrate and undermine Europe?
The concept of refugee status, as outlined in the Geneva Convention, is a legacy of the Cold War. It was intended to accommodate refugees from communist Eastern Europe and the Soviet Union, but it was never designed to facilitate an invasion of Muslim refugees.
A Trojan Horse
That same Geneva Convention has now become a Trojan horse for radical Islam to smuggle its army of terrorists and jihadists into Europe. Too many Muslim asylum seekers, masquerading as victims of some dictatorial Third World regime, are soldiers of Islamic jihad.
A tip of the iceberg. The ISIS terrorist who stabbed three people to death in the German city of Sollingen at the end of August 2024 was a Muslim refugee from Syria. In May 2024, an Afghan refugee stabbed a police officer to death in Mannheim.
The list goes on and on. In April 2023, a Syrian refugee murdered a man in the centre of Duisburg, and in January 2023, a Palestinian refugee randomly attacked passengers on a train in Schleswig-Holstein. Two young people were killed.
Similar incidents can be found in almost all European countries. Several ISIS terrorists who carried out attacks in Brussels, Paris, London, Madrid, and elsewhere in 2014 and 2015 were also "refugees" from Muslim-majority countries.
Refugees are the 5th column of Islam
Many so-called refugees are infiltrating Europe with the sole intention of undermining the West and waging a holy war in the service of Allah against our European society. These refugees are given every opportunity here and can count on a great deal of goodwill and understanding.
In fact, Europe is suicidal, and we are digging our own grave. Europe is nursing a snake in its breast and digging its own grave. The risk of violent infiltration, terrorism, and radicalisation increases with every Muslim asylum seeker we welcome. These so-called Muslim political refugees are the fifth column of ISIS, Al Qaeda, Hamas, and their ilk.
Countries like Iran, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, and other radical Islamic countries are taking advantage of the lax refugee status to allow their terrorist armies to infiltrate Europe. Among the remaining Muslim refugees, many sympathise with radical Islam and contribute to the population change and the Islamization of our cities and towns.
Asylum Stop
The solution is obvious: there must be a freeze on asylum for refugees from Muslim countries. Asylum seekers should generally be accommodated in their own region and within their own cultural and religious environment. A revision of the Geneva Convention is therefore essential.
Closing the borders to Muslim asylum seekers will, at the very least, ensure that jihadists no longer have a chance here. It's a matter of physical self-preservation and legitimate self-defence.
