At a time where the president of the United States made his decision which could deprive Palestinians of claiming Jerusalem as their capital of Palestine. A city which has been at the root of Palestinian heritage for hundreds and thousands of years.

The Palestinians of Jerusalem withstand the humiliation, brutality, and violence of the occupiers with the hope that with their steadfastness (Sumud) one day this will end, and the beautiful city of Jerusalem can return to life .

Palestinians resist by living as normal of life as possible, despite the actions that threaten their safety, demolish schools and hospitals.

Palestinians are committed raising a new generation devoted to protecting their human rights and fight peacefully to end the occupation.

A Palestinian Artist Fidaa Sammar initiated a 7 -meter—long-Mural to support Jerusalem, the capital of Palestine, and denounced Trumps decision to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.

The Palestinian identity reflected the shape and content of the Palestinian identity, which included the slogan (returnees). The map of Palestine was also shown in the colors of the official flag. It was meditated by the Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Dome of the Rock. It also included the image of a woman holding Jerusalem on her shoulders as a symbol of the steadfast role of women in defending the Palestinian cause.

Fidaa , the Palestinian artist says: ( Trumps decision will never pass ) , Jerusalem is our capital , it will remain our beloved capital, I will continue to resist occupation with painting and art.

Fidaa Sammar , a thirty -six-year old , a daughter of Al – Yamoon in the city of Jenin in the West Bank.

Fidaa , artistic feather draws paintings about the dream of return, Jerusalem, Palestinian prisoners , Palestinian women , and the beauty of Palestine.

Her contributions have spread to countries outside Palestine. She has had prominent exhibitions and has won contests.

Fidaa Sammar , as other Palestinians, remains optimistic that the occupation is about to disappear from Palestine on the heels of the stories of the Palestinian steadfastness (Sumud).
