The Iranian protests are an uprising against the true face of Islam

The imminent fall of the ayatollah's regime in Iran is about much more than the overthrow of a murderous Islamic dictatorship. The revolution in Iran symbolises the resistance of a people against dogmatic Islam enforced upon its people by a clerical regime, which has made domestic repression and international terror its trademark. While the regime brutally cracks down on the protesters, the left-liberal pro-Palestine movement remains strikingly silent.

The Iran of the ayatollahs is, after all, the true face of Islam. Not only would the disappearance of the Iranian Islamic Republic be a moral blow to Muslim fundamentalists, but it would also mean the end of support and sponsorship for Islamic terrorist movements worldwide.

Let's not forget that Iran is a terror state and one of the leading global financiers of terrorist organisations like Al Qaida, Hezbollah, Hamas and Islamic Jihad. The Revolutionary Guard, the regime's private militia, is perhaps the most prominent terrorist organisation of them all.

The fall of the regime of the mullahs would also mean a massive blow to the many radical Islamic organisations that actively pursue the Islamisation of Europe. The influence of countries like Iran, Qatar and Pakistan in Europe should not be underestimated. The amount of funding pumped from Iran and other Muslim countries into mosques, Koranic schools and Muslim organisations in Europe can hardly be overstated!

The revolution always devours its own children first
The fall of the regime in Tehran will have far-reaching consequences, not only for the region but also for world politics. It's striking that the left-liberal pro-Palestine movement barely reacts—no demonstrations, no protests, no rallies... absolutely nothing.

It is evident that as soon as it becomes an uprising against Islam, in this case an Islamic regime, these protests fall silent. The mainstream media, in their turn, is also trying to minimise the Iranian revolution and dismiss it as a "cost of living" protest. The uprising is indeed directed against Islam and the repression, censorship, and discrimination imposed on Iranian citizens by Islamic policies.

Perhaps the left is also somewhat embarrassed that it was the so-called progressive and socialist forces that overthrew the Shah in 1979 and helped bring the ayatollahs to power. As always, the revolution devours its own children first, and the left-wing revolutionaries were the first to be persecuted, imprisoned, and executed by the regime.

For liberals, Muslims are always victims of Western imperialism
The reason for the media and political silence is that the uprising is not only against the regime but against the repressive tyranny of Islam itself. This idea is intolerable to European liberals who cannot acknowledge the reality of Islamic repression.

Their fixed narrative is that every act of Islamic repression against ‘kafirs’ (unbelievers) is a sort of justified resistance against Western imperialism. For them, Muslims are always victims: victims of racism, imperialism, and Islamophobia.

The Palestinian cause has become a symbol of the so-called liberation struggle against Western colonialism. It was, and is being, used and abused to blame the West and isolate it from its most important ally in the Middle East, Israel. The Palestinians are considered the ultimate oppressed people.

Countries like Iran and Qatar have captured the minds and hearts of many Europeans and Americans with the narrative that Muslims are oppressed, victims of racism and Islamophobia, and discriminated against because of their faith.

By focusing on so-called ‘apartheid’ in Israel and ‘war crimes’ in Gaza, Hamas and Hezbollah, with the support of Iran and others, have managed to win over a significant portion of European public opinion. With no attention paid to the terror they inflicted on their own people.

That same public opinion, supported by the media, which sometimes naively and sometimes convincingly supports this narrative, indirectly supports the hostile takeover of their own neighbourhoods and districts by radical Islam.

Sympathy for the Palestinian cause and aversion to Israel (and Jews) are ensuring that Islam is gaining ground in Europe. The Palestinian cause reinforces the sense that the Muslim community has always been the historical victim of the Western world. In fact, the #FreePalestine movement has become a kind of lubricant for the Islamisation of Europe.

The example of the Iranian Islamic Caliphate
Iran, along with several other Islamic countries such as Qatar and Pakistan, is the hub of the Islamisation movement that wants to overrun Europe.

That is mainly why the fall of the ayatollahs is so crucial for Europe. Never forget that the Islamic holy war against Europe and the West started in 1979 with the Iranian revolution. The Islamic caliphate in Iran was an example not only for Shia but also for Sunni Muslims to do the same elsewhere.

Crack the back of the ayatollahs
The time has come to eliminate the ayatollahs' regime finally. That’s why it is not enough to sympathise with the Iranian people in their struggle for freedom. It’s not enough to offer token support; one must do something substantive to replace dictatorship.

The uprising in Iran must succeed; otherwise, the mass protest will end in more bloodshed, oppression and protest. There is no middle ground. The goal of every European and Western government should be to destroy the Islamic dictatorship at this moment of vulnerability.

However, we should not be under any illusions. Only the United States can make a difference and bring Iran to its knees. Therefore, we count on US President Donald Trump to put his words into action and finally crack the back of this murderous regime.

The time to act is now!
