The useful idiots at Europe's gate

How the bizarre alliance between the radical left and militant Islamists is dismantling Western civilisation from within.

Welcome to 2026, the year Europe definitively decided that history lessons are optional and naivety is a virtue. Anyone walking the streets of Paris, Brussels, or London today, seeing the smoke plumes from yet another round of 'cultural enrichment,' cannot help but admire the European elite's blind steadfastness. The barbarians are no longer at the gate; we have let them in, offered them a cup of mint tea, and handed over the keys to the treasury.

It is a fascinating historical experiment. In 732, Charles Martel still had to halt the Islamic invasion at Poitiers physically. The Spaniards then took nearly eight hundred years of the Reconquista to reclaim their continent, and in 1683, the Ottomans had to be repelled from the gates of Vienna with brute force.

What a waste of energy. If only they had known then that you can also solve an existential threat with an inclusivity dialogue and a subsidy fund for community leaders.

Now, in 2026, we take a more modern approach. The new jihad is no longer fought exclusively with swords, but through demographics and a bizarre alliance that will go down in history books as the ultimate comedy of human stupidity: the pact between radical Islam and the far-left. And nothing glues this marriage together more effectively than a shared, obsessive hatred for the State of Israel.

This process does not happen by accident. It is meticulously orchestrated by a new axis of evil. While the Western far-left marches on the streets, the strings are being pulled from Tehran, Ankara, and Doha. Iran provides the militant proxy strategy, exported straight into the heart of Europe.

Turkey weaponises political Islam through the network of the Muslim Brotherhood. Meanwhile, Qatar pumps billions of gas dollars into Western universities and institutions, successfully poisoning the minds of the next generation with guilt over their own Western heritage.

Anyone wishing to see where this Western naivety leads needs only to look back at the slaughter of October 7, 2023. It stands as history's ultimate, bloody irony. The hardcore peaceniks at the Nova festival and in the border kibbutzim devoutly believed in peace, co-existence, and reconciliation. They believed the inhabitants of Gaza ultimately wanted the same things they did.

For decades, they were intellectually supported and cheered on by the Israeli leftist establishment, from NGOs like B'Tselem and the newspaper Haaretz to the naive advocates who remained blind to the reality of UNRWA traitors.

The barbarians' response to all that humanitarian empathy? An orgy of murder, rape, and decapitation. It proved to be the ultimate litmus test: to radical Islam, it does not matter how progressive, empathetic, or 'woke' you are. As an infidel, you are nothing more than a target.

The tragedy of October 7 was not a localised conflict; it was a live preview of what awaits Western Europe. Yet, instead of waking up, the Western far-left and their enablers in the mainstream media have embraced the Palestinian scarf (the keffiyeh) as the ultimate fashion accessory.

Under the banner of 'Free Palestine,' Western students and 'Queers for Palestine' march hand-in-hand with overt sympathisers of Hamas and Hezbollah. Together, they have found common ground in a passionate hatred for Western civilisation. It is as if the turkeys are collectively leafleting for an early Christmas.

While chanting "From the river to the sea," the useful idiots on our universities fail to realise they'll be the first thrown off the rooftops once power definitively shifts.

For those who think this is a unique, modern phenomenon: look at Tehran, 1979. The parallels are so painful they border on the comical. Back then, the hip, secular, leftist intellectuals and communists in Iran also thought they could easily team up with Ayatollah Khomeini to oust the Shah.

The left thought they could use the religious zealots as the muscle for their progressive revolution. We all know how that ended. As soon as the Islamic Republic was firmly in the saddle, the leftist allies received no cabinet posts in gratitude, but rather a one-way ticket to the gallows.

The theocracy brooked no competition. The left was systematically slaughtered to the last man by the monsters they themselves helped into power.

Europe refuses to learn from the past. Under the guise of 'anti-Zionism,' age-old antisemitism is made respectable again on European squares, cheered on by a radical-left elite that thinks it can ride the Islamic tiger. The barbarians no longer need to ram down the gates of our society; our own activists are already smilingly holding the door open for them, waving a flag that seals their own doom.
