U.S. President Joe Biden’s decline is alarming: disapproval hit a new record high

American president Joe Biden is failing in his first year in office on nearly every single major issue as support for his presidency continues to drop. Friend and foe agree that he will go down in history as the worst president ever in U.S. history. Who is brave enough to put him out of his misery?

Looking back on Biden’s first year in office, one thing became evident for the world: he is incompetent, incoherent, and frail. His mental and physical decline on the world stage is taking unprecedented forms. America as a country has never been so weak and helpless as under Biden.

For many Americans, electing Biden represented a return to normality, moderation, unity, and competence. Instead, his presidency so far has only ushered in hyper-divisiveness, immoderate policy, venality, and staggering incompetence. The list of his failures in the first twelve months is endlessly long.

Some highlights of that list.

First, of course, is the disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan last year. The fall of Kabul to the Taliban following the unilateral U.S. withdrawal was a humiliation for the world’s superpower. Biden left fellow Americans - and his international allies that supported the invasion for almost two decades - behind.

By doing so, the "coward in chief" created a new and permanent training ground for worldwide terrorism. In addition, with this flawed decision, he has sent the message to China, Russia, Iran, and all other dictatorships that the U.S. will no longer stand in the way of their future aggression.

What a debacle indeed.

The Southern Border
Another Biden disaster happened at the southern border. The number of illegal immigrants that streamed into the U.S. in 2021, all because Biden refused to enforce the immigration laws, is stunning.

During the campaign, Biden and vice president, Kamala Harris, promised it would be a top priority for their administration to solve the anticipated humanitarian crisis. Harris was the designated candidate to clear up the mess their administration created in mere six months in office.

When Harris in June - after six months in office - finally found her way to a border crossing in El Paso, Texas, nothing significant happened. She drank a few cups of coffee, giggled a bit in her own ‘charming’ way, and complained about all the “rhetoric and finger-pointing.”

That was it.

Since that afternoon in June, she has not been back, while the situation is deteriorating by the day. In 2021, on Harris’ watch, more than 1.7 million immigrants have illegally crossed the southern border. Drugs are pouring in, and human trafficking is rampant.

Like Biden, Harris has failed miserably in her role as border czar. Both Republicans and Democrats are fully aware that under her watch the southern border is a sieve. According to a recent poll, less than 28 percent of Americans approve of Harris’ job as vice president.

Need I say more?

Inflation
As if this is not enough it has been 40 years since U.S. consumers got slammed this hard by inflation. Costs are up for everything: food, energy, cars, housing, transportation, clothing. Name it.

The Consumer Price Index shot up again in December with 0.5 percent. That puts yearly inflation at 7 percent, the highest since mid-1982. It’s also the seventh straight month it’s topped 5 percent.

Initially, Biden dismissed the early trouble signs as “transitory”. Federal Reserve chief Jerome Powell backed him up on that, but no longer. Just a few weeks ago he called inflation a “severe threat” to the economy and admits upward price pressures will persist well into the year.

As an answer to these staggering numbers, the Biden administration tried to pass the so-called ‘Build Back Better” bill that was supposed to pump over a trillion-dollar into the economy. To no avail.

Now he is trying to pass “pieces, big chunks” of the Build Back Better bill signed into law. Can someone explain to the good man how inflation works?

Covid-19 pandemic
Another serious Biden failure has been his mishandling of the COVID-19 pandemic. The failing 46th president of the United States inherited the enormous benefit of coronavirus vaccines produced by the Trump administration's Operation Warp Speed.

His response to the pandemic thereafter has been characterized by various policy reversals. The most recent of which is the unconstitutional ordering of vaccine mandates: a move that Biden said he would never make.

As a result, the country is faced with the resignation and firing of public officials. All before the decision last week of The Supreme Court where it blocked the Biden administration from enforcing its sweeping vaccine-or-test requirements for large private companies.

The mandate required that workers at businesses with 100 or more employees get vaccinated or submit a negative Covid test weekly to enter the workplace. It also required unvaccinated workers to wear masks indoors at work.

In addition, despite the broad availability of a myriad of vaccines, more people have died of COVID-19 during Biden's presidency than during Trump's.

That is a fact.

Hunter Biden
What about decency? Biden’s team promised to “restore America’s decency and credibility” following the, supposed unpredictability, of the Trump years. Let’s take a closer look.

Let’s start with the commander-in-chief himself. It is no secret that he just loves kids, little girls in particular. He loves to touch them, smell their hair, put them on his lap, or even kiss them. For the skeptical reader a compilation of his most embarrassing moments.

Like father, like son.

Biden’s drug-addicted son Hunter saw the controversial content from his laptop from hell being largely ignored by mainstream media. Just so his father could be elected.

It’s been more than a year since the NY Post published the first of a series of damning stories about then-candidate Biden, based on material on Hunter’s abandoned laptop at a repair shop.

Hunter Biden introduced his father, then-Vice President, to a top executive at a Ukrainian energy firm less than a year before the elder Biden pressured government officials in Ukraine into firing a prosecutor who was investigating the company.

The never-before-revealed meeting is mentioned in a message of appreciation that Vadym Pozharskyi, an adviser to the board of Burisma, allegedly sent Hunter Biden on April 17, 2015, about a year after Hunter joined the Burisma board at a reported salary of up to $50,000 a month.

Not to mention all the inappropriate sexual content found on the laptop and other shady business deals the Biden family of the past decade.

What happened to the due diligence the media is supposed to conduct on all presidential candidates?

Concluding: the Biden administration has become a synonym for failure, incompetence, and embarrassment. What a bunch of amateurs. It will be up to the next president to clean up the mess the Biden administration leaves behind, restore U.S. leadership on the global stage.

Until that moment: God save the United States of America
