Tayseer Khaled: Expulsion of Temporary International Presence in Hebron (TIPH) encourages settlers Terror

Tayseer Khaled, member of the Palestinian Executive Committee of the ( PLO ) ,  member of the Political Bureau of the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine ( DFLP ) , said that the Israeli government's expulsion today of the Temporary International Presence in Hebron constitutes an additional Israeli challenge to the international community and international legitimacy and cannot provide cover for the crimes of the occupation and settlers in the city, which is exposed daily systematically and continuous attacks by settlers against Palestinian citizens aiming to force them to leave their homes and properties in context with the policy of displacement , Judaization and ethnic cleansing , carried out by the occupation authorities in the old town of Hebron.

He added that the State of Israel, especially under the administration of President Donald Trump, has no longer assess the minimum attention or respect for international law and international legitimacy and has escalated since the accession of President Trump responsibilities in the White House violations of human rights and crimes in the occupied Palestinian territories since June 1967 fully reassured by political and diplomatic protection provided by the administration in a number of international forums, particularly in the Security Council.

Khaled emphasizes the need to go to the UN Security Council and call him to assume his responsibilities and protect his decisions and compel the Israeli government to respect international community and show respect to UN security councils resolutions  , especially that  the Temporary International Presence in Hebron was founded in the wake of the Massacre of the Ibrahimi Mosque, which killed dozens of worshipers and wounded hundreds after an American settler , Baruch Goldstein , fired on 25 February 1994, after which the Security Council issued resolution 904 on March 18 of the same year, which called for measures to ensure the safety and protection of Palestinian civilians throughout the occupied territories, including the existence of Temporary International Presence .
