Tayseer Khaled: US Administration has deserved a new slap in the UN General Assembly

Tayseer Khaled, member of the Executive Committee of the PLO , member of the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP), welcomed the United Nations General Assembly's rejection of the US draft resolution against the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) and other Palestinian resistance movements , which tried to stigmatize the Palestinian national struggle against Israeli occupation as an act of  terrorism targeting civilians, ignoring the Israeli killing machine, which is frighteningly targeting the lives of Palestinian citizens in their homes and streets of towns, villages and refugee camps, as well as military checkpoints and roadblocks in the West Bank

He expressed his appreciation for the position of the countries that voted against the American draft resolution and prevented its ratification ,  expressed at the same time his regret over the position of the European Union and other countries that have stood behind the American position in a shameful vote expressing political subordination and double standards in the attitude towards the right to life and Human rights, especially as they are aware of the magnitude of the crimes committed by the Israeli occupation forces and the settlers against the citizens in their cities and villages and their camps , who take part in  peaceful demonstrators  to break the siege in the Gaza Strip and the  peaceful demonstrators against the policy of house demolitions and land confiscation and building settlements, which fall within the framework of war crimes under international law and the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court.

Tayseer Khaled stressed the great national significance of the unity of the Palestinians  in all their  factions,  political and societal forces from the American draft resolution, which played a decisive role in thwarting the draft resolution ,  and called on both parties , the Palestinian National Liberation Movement ( FATEH ) and the Islamic Resistance Movement ( Hamas ) to give priority to the supreme national interests of the people Palestinian people  on all the sectarian interests to fulfill national unity and put an end to the black division by initiating without hesitation the implementation of the agreements signed between the two sides, including the October 2017 agreement to restore the unity of the Palestinian political system on solid foundations to steadfast successfully and with minimal losses  the project to liquidate the Palestinian cause as it expresses itself in the so-called American Century Deal to settle the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.
