This past Saturday (March 22), it was exactly ten years since Islamic State (IS) carried out two terrorist attacks in the European capital, Brussels, that claimed the lives of 35 victims. The attacks at Zaventem Airport and a metro station in the centre of Brussels were extensively commemorated in recent days. Commemoration is certainly necessary, but reflecting on how and why is equally so.
By Filip Dewinter
Belgian Prime Minister Bart De Wever managed not to mention the nature of the attacks at all. The words Islam, Muslim, Koran, or jihad were not mentioned even once in the many official speeches following the various commemorations. It was as if aliens committed the attacks.
Hypocrisy reigned supreme!
Yet remaining silent about the motives and nature of the attacks is a form of culpable negligence that lays the foundation for future attacks. The Islamo-omerta ensures that the motives behind the attacks remain undiscussed and the seeds for new violence are sown.
Brussels: the Jihad capital of Europe
By not discussing the how and why of the attacks, the government avoids the debate about its own failure and the bankruptcy of the so-called multicultural society. After all, the terrorist attacks were (and are) only possible because Muslim terrorists were condoned and tolerated on European territory for years.
The IS terrorists were able to organise themselves in fully Islamised Brussels neighbourhoods such as Molenbeek, Saint-Josse-ten-Node, and Schaerbeek, where they found (and still find) a haven within the Muslim community. Two years before the Brussels attack, they plotted there the terror attack on the Bataclan in Paris, among others, which resulted in 130 deaths.
On land, the radicalisation of the Islamic population in Europe was covered up with a cloak of charity under the guise of tolerance and multiculturalism. Any form of criticism was considered intolerant or racist, with the result that the recruitment of terrorists and the organisation and preparation of attacks could take place unnoticed, allowing Brussels to become the jihad capital of Europe.

Terrorism is like a chick in the egg of Islam
Terrorism and the use of violence are like a chick in the egg of Islam. It is an inseparable part of it. Of course, not every Muslim is a terrorist, but virtually every terrorist is a Muslim. The latter has to do with the fact that Islam considers violence against kafirs (unbelievers) as a legitimate means to secure the final victory for Islam.
Do not forget that Islam divides the world into the Dar-al-Harb (the world of war) and the Dar-al-Islam (the world of peace). Peace can only exist when Islam reigns. The Quran, in that perspective, is a ‘license to kill’ that incites violence against anyone who does not submit to Islam.
Terrorist groups such as IS, Al-Qaeda, and many others are the armed arm of Islam that wage jihad in the name of Allah. They follow the example of Muhammad, who was a warlord and who, with a curved sword in hand, spread Islam in the Middle East and beyond through many wars and violence.
That is why terrorist organisations such as IS and their ilk can count on the sympathy of a not insignificant part of the Muslim population in Europe, with all the practical consequences that entails.
Jihad works
Not only is there a politically correct silence regarding the nature and motives of the terrorist attacks, but the massacres are also being used directly and indirectly as a lever to push through the further Islamization of Europe.
The chairman of the Flemish Christian Democrats (CD&V), Sammy Mahdi, went so far as to state that participation in wars against Muslim states provoked the attacks in Brussels. British Prime Minister Starmer, on the other hand, refused support to the USA in the war against Iran because he feared attacks on British territory.
Others, however, think that the attacks are a reaction to Islamophobia and racism, resulting in more resources for ‘integration’ and facilities for the Islamic religion.
With this kind of reasoning, the terrorists of IS and co. are indeed achieving their goal. European politicians are succumbing to the threat of jihadist terrorist attacks. Terrorist groups such as IS, Al Qaeda, Hamas, Hezbollah, etc., serve a geopolitical agenda. They are the military outposts of countries such as Iran and Pakistan.
Terrorist states that have turned terrorism into a successful tool to achieve their goal and realise their agenda of the Islamization of the West. The attacks, the population replacement, mass immigration… these are all means to destabilise Europe, to Islamise it, and to wage jihad against Europe.
The fact that authorities and journalists in the mainstream media do not dare to utter the word Islam when discussing the attacks is also a direct consequence of the population replacement. After all, the rapidly growing Islamic community in Europe must under no circumstances be targeted or embarrassed.
Anyone who links Islam to terrorism is immediately accused of Islamophobia. Which means the (cultural, demographic, and violent) jihad works. That has become evident by now!
